TCS to Hire 42,000 Fresh Graduates in FY26
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT exporter, plans to hire around 42,000 fresh graduates in FY26. This announcement comes after TCS saw an increase in employees in FY25, reversing a decline that lasted for 19 years. The company's CHRO, Milind Lakkad, highlighted that the rise in hiring is influenced by the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) talent, as it presents new opportunities for the business. TCS currently employs over 607,000 people and reported a 5.3% revenue rise to ₹64,479 crore for the last quarter, though their profits fell short of expectations, indicating a cautious approach to future hiring.
