SaaS company Freshworks has appointed Murali Swaminathan as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Based in Chennai and San Mateo, California, Freshworks is listed on Nasdaq and serves over 68,000 customers, including big names like American Express and Sony. Swaminathan, who previously worked at ServiceNow and Recommind, will lead the company's global engineering and architecture teams. Reporting to CEO Dennis Woodside, he will drive Freshworks' technology strategy and innovation.
