Gautam Adani to Pass Control to Family by 2030s

Indian billionaire Gautam Adani, 62, plans to step down as chairman of the Adani Group at age 70, ceding control to his sons Karan and Jeet, and their cousins Pranav and Sagar by the early 2030s.

Adani emphasized that the transition would be organic, gradual, and systematic. Karan Adani, managing director of Adani Ports, and Pranav Adani, director of Adani Enterprises, are the top candidates to take over as chairman. This succession plan aims to ensure business sustainability and continuity for the conglomerate, which has seen significant growth in renewable energy investments.
