JioCinema, owned by Reliance Industries, has appointed Ishan Chatterjee, former YouTube India managing director, as its chief business officer.
Chatterjee brings over 20 years of experience, including 13 years at Google, and will oversee JioCinema's revenue strategy, focusing on sports and entertainment. JioCinema, which has 15 million paying subscribers, aims to grow its user base with affordable plans like ₹29 per month for ad-free content.
