Jupiter Wagons Ltd (JWL) witnessed a significant surge in its standalone net profit, soaring over two-fold to Rs 104.22 crore in the March quarter, attributed to increased income. Compared to the same period last year, the company's total income spiked from Rs 712.71 crore to Rs 1,121.34 crore. Notably, during this quarter, JWL secured a substantial order worth Rs 100 crore for manufacturing and supplying four rakes of double-decker automobile carrier wagons. With its order book standing at Rs 7,101.66 crore as of March 31, JWL continues to establish itself as a prominent provider of comprehensive mobility solutions, encompassing rail, road, and marine transportation, alongside its presence in the Commercial Electric Vehicle (CEV) segment.
