Mumbai has surpassed Beijing as Asia's top city for billionaires, according to the 2024 Hurun India Rich List. Mumbai now has 386 billionaires, an increase of 58 this year.
The city hosts 25% of the billionaires on the list. Delhi is second with 217 billionaires, and Hyderabad is third with 104, surpassing Bengaluru, which has 100. Mumbai has 92 billionaires, beating Beijing's 91. Globally, Mumbai ranks third in billionaire count, following New York and London.
