Prime Minister Narendra Modi has traveled to Russia for the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan. During the two-day event, Modi will hold key discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The summit will focus on global issues such as climate change, economic cooperation, and strengthening supply chains. This is Modi’s second trip to Russia this year, following his July visit where he was honored with the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. Talks on India-China border patrolling may also continue.
