SBI Plans to Launch Enhanced Digital Banking Platform YONO 2.0

Dinesh Khara, outgoing Chairman of the State Bank of India (SBI), announced that the bank is developing a new version of its digital banking platform, YONO 2.0, to better serve customers' needs. Speaking at the Global Fintech Fest 2024, Khara emphasized the importance of managing risks in banking. He highlighted YONO's growth, stating it now has 80 million registered users, with 10 million daily logins. In 2023, YONO facilitated loans worth ₹1.7 billion and expanded its reach globally. The updated platform aims to be more modular and faster.
