Tamil Nadu Signs ₹900 Crore MoUs with Global Tech Firms in the US

Tamil Nadu has secured investments worth ₹900 crore from six global technology firms during CM M K Stalin's visit to the US. The deals, signed at an Investors Conclave in San Francisco, aim to create 4,100 jobs across the state. Notable agreements include Nokia’s ₹450 crore fixed network R&D lab in Siruseri and PayPal’s advanced AI development centre, which will employ around 1,000 people. Other investments include Infinx Healthcare’s technology delivery centre in Madurai, Applied Materials' AI-based semiconductor development centre, Microchip Technology’s ₹250 crore R&D centre, and Yield Engineering Systems' manufacturing facility in Coimbatore.
